Matthews Eastmoore shareholder Keith DuBose was presented with the 2017 Fran Peacock Coker Community Service Award at the Florida Chapters of the American Board of Trial Advocates (FLABOTA) 20th Annual Convention on July 28.
Educating the American public about the history and value of the right to trial by jury is a primary goal of FLABOTA. Further, it strives to preserve the constitutional vision of equal justice for all Americans and to preserve our civil justice system for future generations.
In his remarks accepting the award, Keith spoke about the legal profession being an honorable one and emphasized the need for legal professionals to be involved with the community, especially the youth of the community. Matthews Eastmoore shareholder Patricia Crauwels, Membership Chair of the Sarasota/Bradenton Chapter of FLABOTA, attended the awards ceremony with Keith. Matthews Eastmoore is very proud of Keith for all of his efforts in the community and for FLABOTA recognizing him for service.
