Patricia D. Crauwels is an attorney and shareholder in the Sarasota law firm of Matthews Eastmoore. Pat attended the University of South Florida, where she graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in 1980. In 1983, she received her law degree from Washington and Lee University. Pat is Board Certified by the Florida Bar as a Civil Trial Lawyer and concentrates her legal practice in the areas of medical malpractice, products liability, and personal injury litigation.
Pat began her legal career as a lawyer by working as an Assistant State Attorney for Manatee County. She later began doing civil trial work, spending more than ten years in Bradenton doing insurance defense litigation. The lawyer ultimately became a shareholder and head of the litigation department at the law firm of Price, Price, Crauwels, Whitaker & Hamilton. Since joining the law firm of Matthews Eastmoore in 1998, she has put her litigation experience to work, continuing to provide legal services to a select group of insurance companies and representing injured individuals in accident and malpractice cases.
As is a tradition among Matthews Eastmoore law firm attorneys, Pat is dedicated to serving the legal community. The lawyer has served as a director of the Manatee County Bar Association and is a member of the Sarasota County Bar Association. She is a member of the American Board of Trial Advocates, serving as a former member of that organization's national board, and is a former treasurer of the Florida Board of Trial Advocates (FLABOTA).
