Hunter W. Carroll is a shareholder in the firm. A seventh-generation Floridian, Hunter W. Carroll, was born and raised in Sarasota. Hunter received his law degree, with honors, in 2000 from the University of Florida College of Law, where he also received the Book Award in Florida Constitutional Law. A "Double Gator" he received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science, with honors, and a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance with honors, in 1997 from the University of Florida where he graduated as the Outstanding Male Leader. For two years after law school, Hunter had the privilege to serve as staff attorney to Justice Charles T. Wells, then Chief Justice of the Florida Supreme Court.

Hunter practices in the areas of business litigation, personal injury, and appellate law, representating both plaintiffs and defendants.

Hunter is a product of Sarasota's public school system, having attended Wilkinson, Pine View, and Sarasota High, where he graduated as valedictorian. He is dedicated to improving our community. Currently, Hunter serves on the Board of Directors of Teen Court of Sarasota, Inc., a diversionary program for youthful offenders. Hunter continues to volunteer his time with Teen Court, which he has done since 1989. He also serves on the Board of Directors of the Sarasota County Bar Association's Young Lawyer's Division. Previously, Hunter served as editor of the bar association's publication, The Docket. Hunter's wife, Jessica, likewise is involved in the community.
